A Small, Encouraging Thought

I met a woman at my new job last week during my first couple of days who said something unexpectedly encouraging to me. My boss introduced us and amidst the small talk, I mentioned I had “big shoes to fill” since everyone loved the last person in my role so much.

Well, the woman was having none of that and told me no, I had my “own shoes.”

Additionally, I found this podcast episode to be particularly helpful- and by helpful I mean it ripped open my soul on the bus ride home because it describes exactly how I feel all the time, in both professional and personal settings.
