What am I reading?

A public journal of sorts. There’s always been something about private journaling that felt silly - like I was talking to myself but not in the out loud kind of way. I guess if no one subscribes to this then it’ll just turn into the same thing - but I digress.

Half Empty is a shared experience. While you’re busy reading it, I’ll still be second-guessing everything in it. It’s my brain on digital paper: sad, flustered, confused, sometimes happy, and often far too obsessed with that one part of the story that has nothing to do with the rest. You’ll read about art, grief, things that matter, and things that don’t. The plan is for you to get this every week or so - enough time for me to breathe & then procrastinate - but just be happy if you get it at all.1

In the end, I hope you read Half Empty and walk away entertained, a little lighter, and feel a little less alone.

Many many thanks,

Elizabeth
